Each branch of NBGS has their own collection of library materials, which are located as follows:
- Charlotte Branch materials are held at the St Croix Public Library in St Stephen.
- Saint John Branch materials are held at the Saint John Free Public Library in Saint John.
- Southeastern Branch materials are held at the Moncton Public Library in Moncton.
- Capital Branch materials were donated to the Provincial Archives of New Brunswick.
- Miramichi Branch materials are held at the Chatham Public Library in Miramichi.
