Family Folders at the Saint John Library

The over 900 genealogy files in this collection belong to the Saint John Branch of NBGS, and are on permanent loan to the Saint John Free Public Library in Saint John. 

The files contain a variety of material including genealogies, correspondence, copies of original documents, transcriptions, newspaper clippings, family group sheets, UE applications and much more. Some of the material is sourced; some is not.

Much of the material pre-dates online research. Some material is in poor condition and did not scan well. Some material on large-format paper was scanned in two parts and the information may overlap. We were not able to scan the oversize charts.
