Capital Branch

Capital Branch is based in Fredericton and covers the counties of York, Sunbury and Queens.  

Capital Branch meets on the second Saturday of January, March, May, September and November at 10:30 AM at the Provincial Archives of New Brunswick, 23 Dineen Drive, UNB Campus, Fredericton NB, and via Zoom.

Please refer to the Meetings and Events page for further information on Capital Branch meetings, activities, and special events. The general public is welcome to attend meetings.

The research resources for Capital Branch were donated to the Provincial Archives.

Capital Branch Cookbook

20th anniversary reprint of a cookbook published by Capital branch in 2003. 
Capital Branch Cookbook

Besides great recipes, the cook book is generously sprinkled with witty wisdom and advice, and tidbits of genealogical information connecting recipes to ancestors. The answer to the genealogical question on page 95 is "Yes". Page 44 tells you how an old bachelor can attract a maiden lady with homemade doughnuts, and on page 64 is a recipe involving peanut butter, six-year-olds and a clean floor. Enjoy!
